This beautiful little hidden treasure, located just next to the Marriott Hotel, has the cutest decoration that reminds us of an old European tea salon. The entrance has a glass -covered roof in the style of an old orangerie, the walls in the café is decorated with old paintings from the colonial times and the small sofas are comfortable and makes you want to stay the whole afternoon.
Salon de The makes some fantastic fresh homemade juices, which they serve in a big jar (30,50Le incl. tax), but the tea selection is surprisingly poor for a tea salon (you can choose between green tea and "regular" tea) and the food might be slightly over priced for what it is (grilled chicken 91,50Le and kofta wrap 73,50Le incl. tax).
It is the perfect place to meet with your friends on a Saturday afternoon to chat about life and many people use Salon du The for afternoon meetings with colleagues or study mates.
Salon de The offers a wide selection of shishas (36,50Le) and a good selection of breakfast platters.
